Bulow 2019

March

New Driver

Dad takes the backseat, again. Such a major, life-changing event that earlier events seem to have faded in our memories. Either that, or we forgot to take pictures.

Government

The kids had an opportunity to see the ND legislature in action. Ethan and Titus took a front row, probably voting for everything that came by.

April

4H Activities

A ceramics class was a fun 4H activity the kids took part in. The first step was preparing the ceramic for finishing.

Moth

We found the caterpillar in the fall of 2018. It took a long time, but he finally emerged.

Titus working

Working Boy

Titus is frequently wanting to give dad a hand on whatever project, as long as it involves power tools.

May

Montana Trail Ride

A spring highlight is the trail ride in Montana, helping cowboys move their cattle accross the countryside.

Ceramics

It took a while to finish the ceramics, but the results were worth it.

June

Carpentry

Titusdesigned and built himself a chair. By himself.

Story Book Lodge

We spent lots of time up at Story Book Lodge, Christian Camp. Dad did his best to make Teen Camp a memorable experience for Larissa and Riana – with mixed results.

Hidden Acres

Near the end of June, we were at Hidden Acres camp in Iowa. Around the Bible teaching sessions, the kids enjoyed a few activities.

July

Tengesdal Cousin Family Reunion

Huh?

I’m not exactly sure what is going on here, but it looks like someone has some explaining to do…

August

Bunkhouse Camp

We took a small bus full of girls to Wisconsin for a one-week girls camp. They were smiles on the way out there, and sleeping on the way back.

ER Visit

Titus climbed a tree and found a wasp nest, but they found him first. He said he never climbed down a tree so fast, but still managed to take away 36 mementos.

Horse and Buggy

In the busyness of summer, it was difficult to find time, but Riana managed to train her mini-horse to pull a cart.

Medora

Grandpa and grandma came for a visit and the kids took them to Medora.

September

Colorado

Visiting Garden of the Gods

Youth Season

Ethan was pretty happy to bag a doe. He even field dressed it all by himself.

October

Anniversary

For our anniversary, we rented a small cabin on the south side of the badlands. Some beautiful territory down there!

November

Deer Season

It was a successful hunt.

New Skills

Larissa is having fun.
Not sure about Ethan.

Thanksgiving in Branson, Missouri

Afternoon hikes, activity center, roller coaster rides, and a theater production with live animals!

December

Cookies

The great annual cookie production. Something north of 4,000 Christmas cookies were created.
